100% cotton thread gauze impregnated with a white soft paraffin jelly. Individually sterile packed. Aid fast recovery and protect newly formed tissue. Non-adherent – reduces pain or trauma during dressing change
GeloTec gauze dressings dressing are ideal for use on minor burns and scalds, skin loss wounds, lacerations and abrasions, leg ulcers and donor and recipient graft sites.
GeloTec dressing soothes and protects the wound allowing it to drain freely into an absorbent secondary dressing. The dressing are applied with paraffin jelly which acts to form a separate layer between the wound and gauze to aid fast recovery and protect newly formed tissue. This layer also prevents sticking to the wound and reduces pain or trauma during dressing change.
