Made from Zilco`s famous synthetic strapping.  Named after the 1931 Grand National winner who wore one. Sometimes referred to as a ” Figure 8 ” noseband. Grackle nosebands offer similar benefits as a drop noseband but are said to be less constrictive to the horse’s breathing becuase the nose pressure is localised higher up the face. A correctly fitted Grackle Noseband will have the centre piece ( where the straps cross ) sitting approximately in line with the end of the horse’s cheekbone.
